UK operator GiffGaff is now offering its customers the option of superfast 4G connectivity, more than a year after major networks introduced the networking standard.
Nonetheless, GiffGaff customers will likely welcome the new faster options, which start at £12 per month for 1GB of 4G data and 500 UK calling minutes, and rise to £18 for 5GB of 4G data with 1,000 UK minutes.
Of course, you’ll need a compatible 4G phone – one that supports the 800Mhz band as GiffGaff is piggybacking on O2’s network – but you shouldn’t need to change your SIM or any other details. Notably, if you’re a OnePlus One owner on GiffGaff, you’re out of luck as the device doesn’t support the 800Mhz band.
