Uber announced today that its wrapping up its cab service in San Antonio, after operating in the Texas city for almost exactly a year.

The company decided to cease operations because of a tough regulatory climate in San Antonio, where it had more than 13,000 users. However, Uber says it will work to bring its service back to the city in the future.

The company’s UberX cabs were suspended last month in Seoul, South Korea, over failure to comply with local transport authorities’ guidelines.
