With Lyft, Gett, and Uber and others, New York City might just be the world’s most saturated ride-hailing market.

Uber’s users will be happy to know that starting today, you can book rides up to 30 days in advance through the app. When you book a car, you get timely reminders to make sure you don’t forget to hop on, although surge pricing still applies.

Being able to book rides in advance seems great for fixed-time appointments like getting to the airport or an interview — it’s one less thing to forget when you’re in a hurry.

The company is still rolling out its scheduled rides to other places and plans to expand to 29 more countries by the end of September. That means that even if you don’t live in NYC, it’ll probably be soon available to you too.
