If you’ve always wanted to play the drums (or are looking for a way to pass a few minutes on a Friday afternoon), then TypeDrummer lets you do just that from your computer keyboard.

It might not bring the excitement of actually being able to put together a decent beat on a drum kit, but it also doesn’t require any of the skill, patience or dedication either.

All you need to do is bash out a beat using the letters on your keyboard; spaces do affect timing, but none of the other numbers or symbols seem to do anything. Once you’re happy with it, you can share it with the world via a unique URL.
