It seems that Twitter has disabled the retweet function for most of its users. No idea if it has anything to do with the end of the year (lets not relive it?) or it might just be another glitch. This is what the @Support account just tweeted:
As you can see Retweeting was enabled for the account I tested it with but lots of people can’t seem to retweet if you check search.twitter.com.

UPDATE: Seems that Eddie and Laura are still at the Twitter offices working on stuff. I can image Eddie spilling a glass of champagne over the Retweet server and Laura running over to reboot it. Happy to hear that even tonight Twitter is being monitored.:
