The second annual Twitter Flight conference will take place on October 21, 2015, at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Center. This year, Twitter promises more technical sessions and additional face time with the engineering team from Twitter.
At the event, Twitter says developers will be the first to know about some of its core platforms like Fabric, Gnip and the Twitter API. There will also be a series of technical sessions:
- Deep-dive sessions on Fabric and Gnip: Developers will get a deeper technical understanding of the Twitter platform, and learn how to best utilize all the services Twitter has on offer.
- High-level sessions for Fabric and Gnip: An overview of how the Twitter platform works.
- Technical “lightning talks”: Short sessions with Twitter engineers that will cover topics like how Twitter was built and how to best use it for your advantage.
- Behind-the-scenes talks: Engineers from Twitter’s apps and back-end services explain their development process and talk about the tools they use.
Twitter hasn’t detailed pricing for this year’s event, but Flight 2014 cost $140 to attend, so expect to spend about as much. To be notified when the sign-up page goes live, click the link below.
