Twitch, the live streaming service that connects gamers and viewers, is now available as a channel on Roku devices.
Admittedly, if you’re not a gamer, the prospect of spending hours staring at someone else playing a video game probably isn’t very enticing. Nonetheless, gaming is big business nowadays, and the rise of e-sports has been fuelled by services like Twitch.
And besides, with 1.5 million broadcasters on the service, surely you can find something you’d want to watch?
Roku owners can update their devices via the Channel Store, and if you don’t have a Roku, you can still watch along on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV, as per normal.
