Twitch’s live-streaming games channel is now available on Roku devices

Twitch, the live streaming service that connects gamers and viewers, is now available as a channel on Roku devices.

Admittedly, if you’re not a gamer, the prospect of spending hours staring at someone else playing a video game probably isn’t very enticing. Nonetheless, gaming is big business nowadays, and the rise of e-sports has been fuelled by services like Twitch.

Roku owners can update their devices via the Channel Store, and if you don’t have a Roku, you can still watch along on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV, as per normal.
