An update to Tumblr has hit iOS devices, and sugests the company knows its users are a bit nervous approaching one another on its platform.

When you message someone for the first time, Tumblr now suggests some conversation starters. It gives you a bit of insight on what that account typically discusses, often in hashtag form in case you need to look it up.

The web version still opens up a plain chat window that simply shows who’s in the conversation.

As always, the update is available now, so give it a shot if you’re into chatting on Tumblr.
