With the speed of change happening around the world, ever wished there was an easy-to-use summary of the important stuff as well as some predictions for what we might be able to expect in the coming years?

    Well now there is.

Renowned futurists, Ross Dawson and Richard Watson have released the 2010+ versionof their popular “trend blend” series; “a roadmap for the exploration of current & future trends (+ some predictions to stir things up)”

Using the analogy of a metro/subway map, they provide a visual representation of trends and predictions across 16 areas of interest that will affect us now, and well into the 21st century.

While the image might at first seem a little daunting, the guys have actually done an incredible job of simply detailing what we can expect in the future based on current major global trends. All you need to do is jump on a “line” and watch the future unfold.

If you’re interested in what the future may hold for us, whether out of general interest or because you’re a tech entrepreneur trying to pick up on things you should be focusing on, this is definitely worth checking out.

For those interested in the previous years’ versions you can find those on Ross Dawson’s blog here
