Trada brings crowdsourcing to online advertising.

Trada brings crowdsourcing to online advertising.

It isn’t often that I’ll find a business that’s doing something so well that I’m inclined to write about them.  Maybe it’s because I’m fighting for some clarity in the online advertising world myself, but something about what Trada is doing really struck a chord with me.

To put it into perspective for you, I’ve worked in and around marketing and advertising for 15+ years.  I know some great ways to get people to pay attention to products, but the world of online advertising is still somewhat new to me.  So I need help if I’m going to get the best results.

Trada is that help.

Here’s the basic rundown:  Trada is the only company that allows an advertiser to be able to advertise on all three major search engines with 1 click.  Instead of having to figure out the best ideas for keywords, ad copy and ad channels, Trada does it for you.

So what’s that mean?  It means that you can spend more time focusing on your business, while Trada focuses on getting you the best return on your advertising money.

Trada isn’t simply making stuff up as they go along, either.  The CEO, Niel Robertson, is a three-time entrepreneur who sold his first company at 22 years old.  Here’s a look at Niel, and a little insight into how Trada works.

I’m not typically a big fan of crowdsourced product, but Trada has taken some steps to make sure that it works well. Trada isn’t hiring just anyone. The people working on your ad campaign must be certified by Trada and prove that they know what they’re doing. Each of them has a specialty, and comes up with keyword search functions that are specific to you.

The other thing that really impresses me about Trada?  The company truly seems to care about the advertising world.  The Trada Blog is a great read, offering insight not only to the company but to the industry as a whole.

Trada isn’t the right choice for everyone, but it’s certainly a great option for many.  Whether you’re a PPC advertising guru, an ad agency or just some guy selling scarves, it’s worth a shot to talk to Trada and see if they can help you make more money.
