ToutApp, the startup focused on making email a more effective tool for salespeople, has rolled out a bunch of new features that make it even more worthwhile if you send a lot of outbound mail as part of your job.

The biggest new feature is a new ‘Emails’ tab that lets you track the progress of all the messages you’ve sent out to leads, including opens, clicks, website visits and the like. That data can even be viewed as a report so that managers can see how each member of their sales team is performing. Meanwhile, email followup reminders can now be set up in the interface, while anyone using Salesforce for CRM can take advantage of a new ‘Push to Tout’ button that allows you to easily send personalized emails from within Salesforce. Smart stuff.
