Four months after Tophatter took its fast-paced live auction marketplace beyond the Web and onto iPhones, the California-based startup has now been optimized for iPads too.
Tophatter sells itself as “the world’s most entertaining live marketplace”, with real-time features that let buyers and sellers chat and network as they bid on items. It could be described as eBay auctions on speed.
You can buy anything from jewelry to electronics, with items sold to the highest bidder. A typical auction last just a matter of minutes, and you can also set yourself reminders for when an auction is due to start.
Tophatter for iPad is available to download now.
