In our Apps of the Year series, The Next Web team shares personal recommendations for our favorite apps of 2015.
I’ve tried several to-do apps in an effort to become more productive, but they’re mostly useful for listing the things I need to get done. Accomplish for Android goes a step further and schedules them right into my calendar.
The free app’s cleverly designed interface lets you list tasks and then drag and drop them into slots on your calendar. You can also set how long you intend to spend on each of them and set a reminder with a swipe.
Accomplish’s system is effective because it not only allows you to jot down to-dos as they come to mind, but it also shows you your synced calendar to see when you have time for them.
I’ve found that Accomplish is more effective at keeping me on track than other apps. The calendar view makes it easy to figure out if I actually have time for all my to-dos today or if I need to push them to tomorrow. Plus, it displays my tasks as well as all my calendar entries in a single elegant home screen widget.
If you’re having trouble getting things done in spite of creating lists and sticking Post-It notes all over your house, try scheduling them with Accomplish for a change.
