If you’re deciding whether or not to attend a conference, you might base your choice on content, speakers or the sheer size of an event. We won’t disagree that these are important criteria but we also believe that some of the best networking is often done whilst holding a beer, sharing a meal or partying after hours.
At The Next Web Conference 2012 we’ve got a fun and inspiring list of side activities happening outside of the conference venue walls. Some of these we helped organise, others are organised by attendees of the conference. Check out this list (in order of date) – we’ll be adding more in the coming week.
Ping Pong Friday (The Next Web edition)
Join in for a pre-conference game of Ping Pong. The best way of networking, brought to you by the guys from The Pong Network on Wednesday April 25 (from 7pm – 9:30pm) at Workspace6. Have a beer and meet some of the people you’re going to spend the next two day’s with.. it’s a blast. Please reserve your place at the table and let the gents from The Pong Network know you’re coming.

Thursday TNW Dinner and Party
Join us for drinks and dinner in the Wolvenstraat on Thursday from 7:30pm – 11:30pm. We’ve convinced our city council to block the entire street! For dinner, you have to make a reservation at the Brix or Bar22. Email info@cafebrix.nl
At the Wolvenbar you can’t make a reservation, it’s on a first-come-first-serve basis. After dinner, we turn the music on and let the Heineken flow.

Roeland and Heleen will be serving you fresh pancakes at the Pancake Market Stall right outside the Conference Venue while listening to startup pitches. Be sure to check out the ‘Flipcam’ and pre order your pancakes at PancakesAndPitches.com.
Closing Drinks

Secret Afterparty
All we can tell you now is that somewhere after the closing drinks there will be an afterparty. Somewhere. Want to be there? Download the TNW iPad Magazine. Let’s see if Paris shows up ;-).
