TNW2019, our tech conference in Amsterdam, is just 58 days away. We’re busy getting everything perfect, and there’s so much to look forward to.

One distinct highlight is the conversation we’ll have about blockchain and cryptocurrency. Last year, I got sucked into this rather intricate technology, and it has huge potential to change our future for the better. I’d like to dedicate this TNW2019 Daily to our Hard Fork track, which will explore everything about it, together with eToro.

You’re all forking cool

Blockchain and cryptocurrency enthusiasts fascinate me. While I know enough about this niche world to get by, if you’re really in it, you’re extremely passionate about it. This breeds some eccentric thinking (I’m looking at you, John McAfee), but it also produces some amazing blockchain use cases and projects that can have a big impact on our future.

At the Hard Fork track, we’re going to explore those amazing ideas. Through keynotes and roundtable discussions, we’ll take a look at the ups and downs of cryptocurrency, the potential of blockchain technology, and talk about how to achieve mass adoption. So whether you’re extremely into it already or you want to be, make sure to join us at TNW2019.

Speaker spotlight: Jackson Palmer

The Hard Fork track features some pretty cool speakers, and Jackson Palmer is one of them. He founded Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency that began as satire and has since become one of the most well-known cryptocurrencies out there. He adopted the doge meme as its mascot, and the internet went nuts for it, because, well, internet.

More importantly, Jackson will talk about the future of cryptocurrency at TNW2019. He’s witnessed the ups and downs of the market firsthand, and he’ll share his experiences and thoughts on how it’ll progress over the next few years. If you want to learn more from the founder of a major cryptocurrency, don’t miss his TNW2019 talk.

And that concludes today’s newsletter! I will now scroll endlessly through the wonderfully weird world of blockchain and cryptocurrency Twitter. See you tomorrow for another TNW2019 Daily, and catch up on previous editions right here.
