TNW Launchpad: Connecting startups to corporates via real-life meetups

TNW Launchpad: Connecting startups to corporates via real-life meetups

Normally when people talk about startups and corporates, it’s in opposition: one disrupting the way the other does business, or sweeping in with an outlandish acquisition in order to protect the status quo.

We’d like to change that.

In partnership with StartupAmsterdam, we’ve created a platform to stimulate collaboration, not conflict. Welcome to TNW Launchpad.

For the first time ever, innovative Amsterdam-based corporate companies will be invited to open the doors to their Dutch headquarters, in order to host meetups dedicated to connecting startups to the corporate world.

Were hoping that these LaunchPad Meetups can help to bridge the gap between Amsterdam’s most powerful corporates and some of the hottest new startups, while taking advantage of the city’s technology scene as a natural testing bed for innovation.

If you’re a startup looking for a corporate company as a potential (launch) customer or test-bed, or you’re convinced that you have some great insight to share on how larger companies can innovate, the Launchpad Meetups are for you.

On Wednesday April 22, eight companies will host the first edition. Three startups will be selected to pitch to each company – represented at the event by one of its board members – as well as to start a conversation on their shared future challenges. You’ll have the chance to demonstrate the value of your company to:

  • Philips
  • KLM
  • TomTom
  • VimpelCom
  • Port of Amsterdam
  • Ey
  • USG Professionals
  • City of Amsterdam

If you think your company has got what it takes, then head over to TNW Launchpad to apply. And don’t forget, this event is the first of many. Get your application in now to stay up-to-date with the next awesome opportunity to pitch to some of the city’s top players.

Apply for the inaugural edition of TNW Launchpad on Wednesday April 22
