This is The Oatmeal’s F U Money.

This is The Oatmeal’s F U Money.

For those of you who have been following the saga of The Oatmeal vs. the biggest douchenozzle in Internet history, this has been the day we’ve all been waiting for.

Here’s a bit of background in case you missed the whole thing:

Earlier in the month, Inman was accused of defaming user-generated media site Funnyjunk.com back in 2011. Lawyer Charles Carreon issued a $20,000 damages claim to Inman, who then posted a hilarious blog post detailing what exactly had happened and why he wasn’t going to pay Funnyjunk.com or Carreon a bean.

Incensed, Inman also set up a fundraiser on Indiegogo to raise the $20,000 — but not to cover his legal costs. Instead, the money would be split between the National Wildlife Federation and the American Cancer Society.

The owner of The Oatmeal was being sued for speaking his mind the truth. Since he doesn’t need it to defend himself anymore, since the case has been retracted, he’s giving the money away to charity, and here it is…all $211,223.04 of it, with the photos going to Carreon as promised via The Oatmeal:

Now that’s an F U of epic proportions.
