Can anyone explain this? Typing Call us for Free in Google Translate returns “Telefonare gratis con Skype” – call us for free with Skype.
The only explanations I can think of is that either Skype is paying Google to be included in every translation mentioning “call” in Italy (unlikely), OR, someone has recommended a better translation and included “con Skype” in there (more likely).
More interestingly, it seems “con Skype” appears on a number of translations when you type “______ us for Free”. . Chat, email, phone, ring all include “con Skype” in the translation. (H/T Filos)
