The new version of Sparrow mail for Mac has been released on the Mac App Store, and version 1.6.2 brings Retina support and Mountain Lion compatibility, including Notification Center. A retina-ready version was previously available directly from Sparrow’s site, but this update brings it to Apple’s official store.
There are also bug fixes and the addition of a couple of new features: the ability to always show the info header and always expand all of the messages in a thread.
Sparrow joins many other recent releases like Pixelmator and Tweetbot for Mac in gaining support for Apple’s new Retina display.
