We’re not exactly sure why they did it, but we’re glad they did. A team of animators have recreated the opening titles for the classic 1987 cartoon series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, using hand-drawn scenery and customized action figures.
Director Kyle Roberts says the video involved “4,000 individual pictures, 60 hand-drawn images and 3 months of tedious work.” It certainly paid off, we think.
