The HTC Desire HD arrives in Canada

The HTC Desire HD has finally arrived in Canada, exclusively through Telus, a major wireless carrier in Canada.

The device is powered by Android 2.2 and sports an impressive 4.3” HD touchscreen and a 1GHz processor. The size and quality of the HD display will be ideal for media, plus it includes Dolby Mobile and SRS virtual surround sound, bringing users a personal surround sound experience.

HTC’s Desire HD also gives users the ability to shoot HD video at 720p and packs a camera with 8MP, auto focus and duel LED flash.

It ships with an 8GB memory card, supports up to 32GB of additional memory and is available through the Telus site for $499.99 with no contract, $149.99 on a 3 year term.
