The future workplace? Convofy is like Facebook and Google Docs rolled into one

The future workplace? Convofy is like Facebook and Google Docs rolled into one

The workplace is changing from a physical office to a virtual one powered by a laptop and a wifi connection. Startups are trying to provide a collaborative environment for teams who work remotely, online. There’s Yammer and Salesforce Chatter, Podio, launched yesterday in San Francisco now there’s another new kid in town: Convofy.

What’s great about Convofoy is that it goes way beyond a back channel for your co-workers to chat, you can annotate web pages or Google Maps and make remarks within the Convofy browser. You can even annotate video and send the exact timecode with comments to your coworkers.

I sat down with Founder Faizan Buzdar who gave me a quick demo of the application.
