The BBC has just launched mobile apps for fans of its youth-oriented Newsbeat content service, making it easier to enjoy the popular Radio 1 show’s stories on the go.
Available for Android and iOS, the BBC Newsbeat app brings news from around the world as well as updates on social trends, entertainment, gaming, student life and more.
The app displays stories in a card-based interface that incorporates tweets, Instagram posts, YouTube videos and SoundCloud clips in its stream and allows for one-touch sharing.
It also caches the day’s content on your device as soon as it’s available so you can read it even while offline.
