Latin American knowledge community startup Teckler has achieved 100 percent monthly growth in page views and posts for each consecutive month since launching in May. In August, the service notched 3.6 million page views, 600,000 unique visitors and 115,000 user-generated posts.

Teckler, which is currently available in 164 countries and 13 languages, offers an interesting take on social content by offering creators 70 percent of the ad revenue that they help bring in. Posts, which are called “Tecks”, can be anything from knowledge articles, opinions, photography, art, music and videos.

Claudio Gandelman, the company’s founder and CEO, describes the service as the “first free market place of digital content that rewards users for quality.”
