Tech5 wildcard voting: Send one more company to the final event!

As TNW Conference Europe draws closer,  we are nearing the end of the second edition of our European Tech5 initiative. In case you missed our previous coverage, here’s a quick refresher: we teamed up with global payments technology provider Adyen to identify the fastest-growing young startups in six European countries.

For each country, five companies boasting the highest growth percentage based on revenue between 2012 and 2015 were selected as finalists. Six of these 30 (the top company from each country) will be awarded time on stage during the conference’s Tech5 event.

The winners so far are Yplan (UK), Blacklane (DE), Fairphone (NL), with the French, Swedish, and Spanish winners to be announced in the next two weeks.

The people’s choice

Last month, we kicked off the current phase of the competition: the wildcard voting stage. In addition to the six companies that top their country’s list, one additional company will be joining them on stage at the conference.

Now it’s up to you, the adoring public, to cast a vote for the company that you think deserves it most. Check out the leaderboard for the current standings.

In the event that the vote is won by a company that is one of the top six, we will award the wildcard slot to the first runner-up that will not already be on stage.

We will close the voting round on Friday, February 10, so don’t wait too long to let us know which company should join the already impressive lineup at the final Tech5 event!
