Teambox rebrands as Redbooth, launches new version of its enterprise collaboration tools

Teambox, the collaboration and communication platform aimed at businesses, has announced that it will now be known as Redbooth.

As well as announcing the rebranding, the company took the opportunity to launch a new version of its suite of collaboration tools which brings “dozens” of new features for the platform’s 650,000 active users spread across “thousands” of paying customers (companies).

In addition to making the whole platform faster and easier to use, fresh new features bring the ability to add subtasks and detailed descriptions for complex projects, full integration of chat into the software, support for up to 100-participant HD conference calls, integration with external storage and workflow tools, and a new executive dashboard with reporting capabilities and an enhanced search tool. Redbooth said it has also added support for Simplified Chinese and Japanese to cater to its burgeoning user base in the Asia-Pacific region.
