Today T-Mobile announced an expansion that will see YouTube, Google Play Movies, RedBull TV and a few more websites added to Binge On’s list of video providers.
The service that initially launched in November last year lets T-Mobile subscribers watch an unlimited amount of videos at a slightly lower quality without using up their monthly high-speed data.
According to the carrier, Binge On’s current list of providers accounts for 70 percent of all video content T-Mobile subscribers are streaming on their mobile devices.
With these new additions, Binge On now offers access to a total of over 50 websites. The carrier’s full list of free video providers is available here.
“Now T-Mobile customers can watch all of the videos they want from these platforms without even touching their high-speed data,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile.
Following YouTube’s accusations earlier in January that T-Mobile is illegally throttling speeds without explicit user consent earlier in January, this announcement puts to rest the tension between the two companies.
