StubHub may soon be the place you go to for all your ticket needs. Starting with the Philadelphia 76ers, StubHub is selling tickets directly from a venue.

Typically, StubHub is that site you turn to when major ticket retailers like TicketMaster (or the venue’s own ticket office) have run dry. People who can’t go (or scalpers) sell directly on StubHub, which means you get tickets — but may pay a premium.

With the partnership, the 76ers will direct all single-game ticket sales through StubHub. The team plans to use the StubHub partnership to grow its season ticket holder-base.

Ticket holders can re-sell tickets via StubHub or through other sites.
