Startups take note: AppCircus is coming to London, entry deadline 2nd November

AppCircus is a traveling showcase event that lets local creators demonstrate their apps. The series of events seek to bring  together developers, startups and any organization, with each participant getting a chance to be nominated for the Mobile Premier Awards, held during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in early 2012.

The London leg of AppCircus is coming to town on November 16th, and will be hosted by TechHub, the shared workspace in East London we profiled back in July. Running from 18.30-21.00, the AppCircus event will be moderated by Rudy De Waele, and will aim to draw in local developers to showcase their apps in front of a jury of industry experts – including The Next Web, Telefonica, Vodafone and more.

Besides the chance to be nominated for the Mobile Premier Awards, it will also be a good opportunity to showcase your ideas in front of a live audience. The event is free to enter, and you’ve still got time to enter the London event, with applications closing at midnight (GMT) on Wednesday 2nd of November. Simply submit your app here, or to register as an attendee, click hit the ‘Register now to attend’ button instead. The 10 best apps selected by the jury will be presented at the event.

AppCircus travels through more than 50 cities around the world to promote and reward the best apps, and other upcoming events include Düsseldorf (14/11), Barcelona (15/11), Oslo (17/11), Kampala (21/11), Tallinn (21/11), Vienna (21/11), Bologna (22/11), San Francisco (30/11), Moscow (1/12), Rio de Janeiro (2/12), Santiago de Compostela (9/12), Madrid (13/11), Lisbon (16/11) and Paris (20/11).
