Mobile payment startup Square launched its Square Stand for the iPad in May, in a bid to help store owners replace cash registers, and now the accessory has gone on sale in Staples outlets in the US.
Back in July, the Square Stand hit its first physical retail stores — the Apple Store and Best Buy — and the addition of over 1,000 Staples stores and the retailer’s online site is likely to help boost awareness and adoption of Square among SMEs and other business owners in the US.
