Payments processor Square has announced that it now supports IFTTT integrations, allowing sellers to set-up triggers that can help to streamline their business operations when taking or sending payments.
For example, sellers can create IFTTT ‘recipes’ for things like automatically sending a congratulatory email to employees, logging all transactions to a spreadsheet or receiving a weekly digest of the week’s refunds. If you don’t fancy creating your own recipe, Square’s IFTTT channel has more than 70 to get you started.
With small business owners often carrying out many of the daily duties of running a business themselves, anything that can help to automate some of the payment, refund and settlement tasks required each month would likely be welcomed with open arms.
