The Sony SmartWatch 3, the company’s third attempt at making a smart watch but its first to run Android Wear, has gone on sale in the US.

Priced at $250, it features a 1.6 inch square screen, IP68 waterproofing and built-in GPS. It doesn’t need to be paired with an Android phone, so should appeal to fitness fanatics disappointed by more tethered options.
