Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Arc is heading to both Vodafone and Three in the UK, with the mobile operators starting to advertise its availability on their networks earlier today.
Three attempts to tease us with a cheesy introduction video, posted to its blog, that demonstrates the Arc’s features and adds that the smartphone will launch on its networks soon. The company recommends that its customers take advantage of the All You Can Eat One Plan, which will ensure users can download as much data as they wish without having check on their allowance.
Three does link vistiors to the company’s “Coming Soon” page but the device is not yet available on the site.
Vodafone has upped a simple “Coming Soon” page, listing the Arc’s features and encouraging visitors to register their details for updates.
The Xperia Arc will run Google’s latest Android Gingerbread update and will feature a single-core 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 4.2-inch 854 x 480 touchscreen, 8MP megapixel camera that sports a back-illuminated Sony sensor, HD video and comes in a just 8.7mm at its thinnest point.
Sony also provides its Exmor R technology which allows Arc owners to capture high quality pictures and videos in the lowest of lights, with its 8.1 megapixel camera.
Sources have noted that the Xperia Arc will launch in early-April, we will update you as soon as more information becomes available.
