Sleep++ — the best sleep tracking app for Apple Watch — has been improved with better analysis tools.

The algorithm that monitors your sleep habits has been totally overhauled and now gives a more fine-tuned look at how you slept the night before. It now takes light sleep, restlessness and your awake time into account.

In addition to the new algorithm, the app also has a new view to show those stats. The data also transmits to HealthKit to help provide a full overview of your wellbeing.

If you’ve been using Sleep++, chosing the ‘send to Health’ option will cause old date to be reexamined with the new algorithm, too.

The update is rolling out today, so be on the lookout for it.
