Skype will soon let you make group video calls on mobile

Six years since Skype introduced video calls on phones, the company has announced that it’s bringing group video calls to mobile devices.

The much-needed feature will launch on Android, iOS and Windows 10 mobile in the coming weeks. It comes as Skype celebrates 2 trillion minutes spent by users on its free video calls.

Group video calling has been conspicuously absent from Skype’s mobile apps. Rival services like Google Hangouts, which allows up to 10 people on a group chat, have had it for some time now.
