Skype has updated its app for Windows Phone 8 devices today to include video messaging on the platform for the first time.
While other mobile versions like iOS and Android have offered video messaging on Skype for a while now, the Windows Phone version had been a little left out in the cold. Now, the update brings them closer in line.
To record a video message, users just need to open a conversation and tap the + sign. Alternatively, if you can’t reach a contact by Skype call and want to send a video message instead, just tap the prompt and begin recording.
