Sky News launches catch-up TV service for Sky+ HD customers

UK broadcaster BSkyB (Sky) has launched a catch-up news service that allows Sky+ HD subscribers to peruse any of the news items they want at their own leisure.

The addition is the first news content to be included as part of Sky’s on-demand offering, which also includes TV shows and movies. As well as providing access to the day’s news, content will also include specially commissioned documentaries as well as providing the option to revisit world changing events from the last 25 years via ‘The Vault’.

On top of all this, there will also be special shows, like Week in Review, “a quick fire irreverent look back on the week’s news”, as well as Showbiz and Technology-focused content.
