How to skip the waiting list and begin using BBM on iOS and Android now.

How to skip the waiting list and begin using BBM on iOS and Android now.

If you’re reading this, you’re no doubt aware that Blackberry has released BBM for iOS and Android today. You’re also likely aware of the pesky waiting list Blackberry has installed that have people waiting with bated breath for an invitation…

Well, a nifty tip from the guys at CNET (and tested by us) should have you using BBM immediately without having to wait for an invitation from Blackberry.

How to do it

“Open the app, enter your e-mail address, click Next, and then force-close it.

This can be done on iOS by double-clicking the home button and swiping the app away. On Android, enter the multitasking menu and swipe the app away, or go to Settings, Apps, BBM, and click Force Close. After relaunching the app you should have the power to create an account, which will assign you a unique PIN, and to begin inviting friends.”

I’ve personally tested this out and it worked a charm. Of course, Blackberry could be alerted to this and fix the hack by the time you’ve read this so please don’t bite our head off if you can’t access.

Good luck!
