SkillPages, the startup that promises to help you find trusted people with specific skills, has rolled out a redesigned app for iOS.
Besides a new design that that better aligns it with iOS 7, it’s now also introduced ‘improved’ search, including a list view for the search results, and a profile that includes recommendations – this makes it easier for users to see who has a good track-record. Additionally, you can now post and manage all your jobs directly from within the app.
So now when your toilet starts leaking, all you have to do is pull out your iPhone and announce your desire for a skilled tradesman in the locale. And when you receive a thousand responses, it’s now easier to see at a glance who the best option might be.
Back in February, SkillPages announced new premium accounts for its skills marketplace as it passed 21 million users.
