Microsoft’s alternative for rich media on the Internet is now available on a dying platform.
In a blog post the Silverlight team has announced that Nokia users can download Silverlight from the Ovi Store (~4MB). The supported phones so far are:
- Nokia 5800 Xpress Music
- N97
- N97 Mini

- Hardware assisted Media playback of H.264 content.
- On demand media streaming via IIS Smooth Streaming
