SieMatic, a German kitchen interior design company, has released the Grid S2, a high-tech, futuristing multimedia cabinet that gives your kitchen a home entertainment system.
The elegantly designed multimedia cabinet features a graphical user interface (GUI) that brings high-end entertainment right into your kitchen. It brings with it internet access, an iPod dock, DVD, TV and radio entertainment for a complete multimedia experience while you’re doing kitchen chores. The cabinet is also designed to work with the other integrated smart kitchen appliances.
Got caught up in a movie? No need to worry, The Grid S2 lets you receive progress reports from the oven, washing machine, or any of the compatible appliances. There’s a retractable cabinet where you can store your keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals.
No pricing and release date yet but don’t be surprised if this costs an arm and a leg. Forget the living room; with a kitchen like this, I would feel like I actually time-travelled into the future.
