Skitch for iOS updated to let you share those pink-arrowed pics even faster

Skitch for iOS updated to let you share those pink-arrowed pics even faster

When you need to share an image with a giant pink arrow with a friend or the Internet at large, you turn to Evernote’s Skitch app. The photo-marking app features tools to quickly annotate images with text, arrows, drawings, and more. Today’s update will share those images quicker.

0117_skitch_660The update brings three sharing categories that appear below an image after it has been filled with arrows and pithy remarks. Swipe left to land on the Meetings option to share the image with attendees of scheduled meetings. The center option, Share lets you publish the image to Twitter, Facebook, Mail and Messages.

It also has an “Other App” option. Tap to get access to apps on your device that support image sharing including WhatsApp, GroupMe, DropBox, and Google Drive. Finally, you can swipe right to the Save area to save your image to the camera roll, Evernote, or the clipboard.

After using the app for a while, a fourth area will appear called Frequents. It’ll populate with the services you use most often when creating Skitch images.

Other new features include the ability to place a caption in the lower left corner of the image before sharing and adjustable text boxes. Plus, here’s a friendly reminder that you can use other colors besides pink in the app. You won’t. But the option is there.
