Well, if there was any doubt that Twitter had indeed gone “mainstream,” this is it. A company called Celery is offering a Twitter service for the technologically afraid: fax to tweet.
Yes, you read that correctly. If you have a fax machine and want to use Twitter to stay in touch with others, but fear a “computer,” Celery will accept your longhand scrawl, and tweet it.
Then, the service will fax you back responses. This is either brilliant, or incredibly stupid. For this grandmother, it’s the former:
