Just two days before Apple’s iPhone 5 launch on Friday, and following the recent print ad, Samsung has released another Galaxy S 3 video that bashes Cupertino’s latest and greatest. Like its predecessors, this TV commercial pokes fun at people who are willing to wait in line for the newest iPhone, and explains to the audience why doing so is pointless given what Samsung already has to offer.

Without further ado, here’s the ad in question:

Here are some choice quotes:

The headphone jack is going to be on the… BOTTOM
I heard the connector is all digital. What does that even mean? Who knows?
All I’m saying is they should have a priority line for people who have waited five times. [Editor’s note: this is the sixth iPhone]
I heard you have to have an adapter to use the dock on the new one. Yeah, yeah, but they make the coolest adapters!
This year, we’re finally getting everything that we didn’t get last year.

The ad then transitions to talking about features the Galaxy S 3 has, which that the iPhone 5 doesn’t. Whether you’re an Apple fan or a Samsung fan, you can’t deny that this is well done. It still reminds me of Microsoft’s counter to Apple’s Mac versus PC commercials.

The video’s description uses the same catch phrase as before: “Intuitive, innovative, and stylish, the Galaxy S III is The Next Big Thing—and it’s already here.” It then points viewers to the Samsung Mobile USA Facebook Page, which has 13 million Facebook Likes.

I can’t wait for Samsung’s marketing push for the rumored Galaxy S4, which is of course coming, though timing is of course unclear. Then the iPhone 6 will come out, and I’ll be grabbing my popcorn bag all over again.
