Samsung is presenting its latest Android phone, the i8520 or Halo, and the thing packs some alarmingly awesome specs.
From the sound of it, the Halo will be a pretty high-end deivce. 8 MP camera with autofocus and flash and a front-facing VGA camera, 720p video encoding, 16 GB internal storage, and a 3.7 inch “Super AMOLED ” screen. Plus it has all of the normal standards, such as MicroSD, stereo speakers, standard 3.5 mm headphone jacks, and quad-band GSM.
What’s really making me drool is the built-in pico projector. Imagine hanging out with friends, and suddenly you guys all want to watch a movie. You go “Oh, hold on a moment,” and project the movie from your phone up onto the nearby wall. It’s the future!
