Get ready to kick out the jams like never before: Oculus has announced that a VR version of the massively popular game Rock Band will be released for its Rift headset next year.
The VR pioneer, acquired by Facebook last year, partnered with game developer Harmonix to develop an immersive version of the music game that made waves on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii.
Details are scarce, but the short clip sure makes the game look like a blast. It’ll be interesting to see what actual gameplay is like, given that Rock Band requires special controllers that mimic real musical instruments.
