Revolut has launched its own mobile phone plan in Germany, the company announced today. The fintech, which recently won a French banking licence, is pushing further beyond its banking app.

Revolut Mobile costs €14.99 a month and includes 120GB of data at full speed, then unlimited data at a slower 2 Mbit/s, plus unlimited calls and texts within Germany.

Also, customers can cancel each month, and there are no connection or switching fees.

The service runs on Telefónica Germany’s network, with speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s. It is run by telecoms firm 1GLOBAL, with Revolut acting on its behalf.

The plan works only as an eSIM and is set up inside the Revolut app. It will be rolled out to the company’s more than 3 million customers in Germany over the coming weeks.

Users get 40GB of roaming data in Europe, a free NordVPN subscription, and a pass for messaging apps in more than 140 other countries.

They can keep their number, add up to three extra numbers, or pay more for a so-called VIP number. Revolut’s reward points can cover all or part of the bill.

“The telecom industry has been rigid and complex for years,” Beatrice Cossa-Dumurgier, Revolut’s chief executive for Western Europe, wrote on LinkedIn. “We’re bringing the same disruptive energy to mobile that we brought to banking.”

Revolut Mobile was built as an internal startup under the company’s “New Bets” programme, she said.

The company now has 11 product lines, each bringing in more than €120 million a year, it said, and has more than 80 million customers worldwide.

Germany is not the first market for the service. Revolut started rolling out Revolut Mobile in the UK in December 2025, on Vodafone’s network.

“Our partnership with Revolut and 1GLOBAL marks a new chapter for the German mobile market,” said Jörg Kablitz, chief partner and wholesale officer at Telefónica Germany.

Revolut has been adding products well outside payments, such as bundling free ChatGPT Go into its paid subscriptions.
