Satya Patel, the former venture capital investor who recently stepped down from his latest role as Twitter Product VP, has joined the board of directors of social marketing software company Spredfast.
Satya Patel initially joined Twitter in March of 2011, after a four-year stint as an investor with Battery Ventures and previous gigs at DoubleClick and Google.
He’s also an active startup advisor and angel investor.
In a statement, Patel says he joined Spredfast’s board because he considers the company “the clear leader in delivering enterprise-grade solutions that help big brands drive deeper engagement with their social customers”.
He certainly has the expertise and knowledge to make that kind of judgment, so we’ll be watching Spredfast with hawk eyes from this point forward.
