Real-time Web analytics platform GoSquared gets a visual revamp to appeal to the masses

Real-time Web analytics platform GoSquared gets a visual revamp to appeal to the masses

GoSquared, a real-time Web analytics company, has launched a revamped version of its platform geared around giving users quicker access to the most powerful and frequently used features.

The move follows a complete retooling of the platform almost a year ago to focus more on visitor growth and engagement and today’s update is aiming to make GoSquared more valuable to an entire business, rather than just ‘the analytics guy’, the company’s CEO and co-founder James Gill told TNW.

However, where most companies would throw new features at the perceived problem, GoSquared is focusing on what it already has first.

“[The release] is all about making GoSquared easier and faster for our customers – it’s not about adding new fancy features, it’s about taking everything we already have and adding value by refining the interface and by rethinking the navigation and experience of using GoSquared – whether you’re on your big desktop computer at work, or on your iPhone on the train,”Gill said.

Alongside the new UI and more discoverable features, the company says it’s now far easier to switch between sites you’re monitoring and that its redesigned account and site settings mean even non-technical users can get set-up in a few minutes.

The company added that this update was “just the start in a huge series”, so clearly there’s more on the horizon too.
