Quote Roller raises $655,000 to help salespeople create better proposals and close deals faster

Quote Roller, a startup from – of all places – Belarus, has secured $655,000 in seed funding to support its expansion to the United States and to enhance its cloud-based software for sales proposals.

Indeed, Quote Roller helps companies create, send and process better sales proposals, in order to win more deals from new and existing clients, while saving precious time (and probably some trees) to boot.

Quote Roller offers its business customers custom-designed templates and a range of online proposal building tools, analytics, digital signatures, in-document commenting and interactive media (videos, pictures, full-color catalogs and whatnot).

The service integrates with email, CRM, project management, invoicing and accounting programs such as MailChimp, SalesForce, Sugar CRM, Basecamp, Xero, Freshbooks, and Box.

The startup has now raised a little over $650,000 in funding from Kima Ventures, Altair Capital, prolific angel investor Fabrice Grinda, Googler Ihar Mahaniok, Fotolia founder Oleg Tscheltzoff and Intuit SVP Eric Dunn.

The latter executive has also joined the startup’s advisory board, alongside Ragnar Sass, co-founder of PipeDrive CRM.

The seed capital will help the team from Belarus to expand its fledgling operations in San Francisco, where it has recently set up shop to be closer to the majority of its now-25,000 customers and most of its integration partners.

Quote Roller also wants to start supporting other types of documents in addition to sales proposals.
